Anna Elizabeth was born in 1881 in Chrudim, Repicky, Bohemia. At the time of her birth, the region was occupied by the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The region held it's language and traditions despite pressure to learn German language and assume the traditions of the Austrian Germans who maintained power and influence at the time. Anna's father was required under rules of the occupation to serve in the Austro-Hungarian military. The place of her birth is located in what is today the Czech Republic. Family records recorded her place of birth in Chrudim, Repicky.

Buckingham--Services will be held Friday, Feb 25, at 10 am at St Paul Catholic Church in Trae for Anne E Yuska, 95, who died Tuesday, Feb 22 at Sunnycrest Nursing Center in Dysart. Rosary recitation will be Thursday at 7:30 pm at the Funeral Home in Traer. Burial will be at St Vaclav Cemetery in Clutier. She was born in Czechoslovakia on August 5, 1881, the daughter of Joseph and Frances Solil Kadrmas. At a young age, she moved to Tama County with her parents. On Feb 21, 1905, she married Joseph Yuska at St Vaclav Church near Clutier. They farmed in Buckingham Township until 1944, when they retired in Buckingham. Ill health forced them to Sunnycrest, where Joseph died in September 1975. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs Ernest (Blanche) Mannel of Traer; a brother, Joe Kadrmas of Traer; and a sister, Mrs Christina Kriz of Clutier; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two daughters and three sisters
