John Lomiller, aged 42, shot off the top of his head with a shotgun at 12:30 o'clock this afternoon at his farm home, four miles southeast of Monroeville. It is not known if it was an accident or if he attended to kill himself. Mr. Lomiller had planted corn all afternoon. He had been in ill health recently, but had not appeared despondent. Surviving are his widow and one son, Virgil.
