"RAY, MRS. MARY E. SHIEL - Mother of Burton F. Watts, wife of Thomas H. Ray, died Feb. 20, 3:45 a.m. She was [a] member of Banner temple, Pythian Sisters; Olive Branch, Rebekahs ; the Birthday club and the Anderson Relief Corps. Services will be held at the residence, 2435 North New Jersey St., at 2 o'clock, Monday, Feb. 23. Burial Crown Hill cemetery."
