CHESAPEAKE, Va. - Edna Estes, 93, died Dec. 22, 2009, at her residence. Services are today at 2 p.m. at Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dewayne Hammontree officiating. Burial will follow at West Alabama Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Estes was born in Guin, Ala., to the late Charles Thomas and Dolly Rosa Ann Martin Wilson. She lived in Guin most of her life and was a member of Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brandon Estes. She is survived by her sons, Charles Brady Estes of Linden, Tenn., and George Alton Estes of Chesapeake; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
