LETTER OF APPRECIATION
Words, oral or printed, are far inadequate to express our deep and sincere appreciation to our countless number of friends and relatives, near and far, for your prayers, for the kind and encouraging words, for the many beautiful flowers, for the food, for the numerous cards, for the memorial gifts made to the memory of our beloved Wendell, for your visits to us in this time of sorrow, and for your many, many acts of thoughtfulness and kindness.
To the members of the Hay Valley Baptist Church and our many friends for furnishing food and serving meals, we thank you.
To the efficient doctors and staff of the Coryell Memorial Hospital, to the members of the Gatesville Rescue Squad, to-J. K. Hamilton, and to each who so efficiently attended on the scene of the tragic accident and afterwards, we offer our humble thanks. Especially do we thank Reverend David Crosby for conducting the funeral service, and to Reverend John Avant who so beautifully and impressively conducted Wendell's memorial service.
To each pallbearer, our heartfelt appreciation.
To Scott's Funeral Home who performed their services so efficiently, we thank you. Again, to each of our friends and relatives we whisper a humble and sincere thanks from the very depth of our hearts and we solicit your prayers as we face the lonely days ahead without our Wendell.
May God bless each and every one of you is our prayer.
