Howard B. Cleveland
Howard B. Cleveland, husband of Esther Shaw Cleveland, 1435 Third avenue, Elmwood, died at 1:25 p.m. yesterday at York hospital. He was 61.
He was a member of First Methodist church; YorkLodge 213, Benevolent Protective Order of Elks, and was a veteran of World War I and II. Mr. Cleveland was a postal ckerk for 15 years at the York post office, a former president of Postal Clerks Credit Union.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Albert C. Cleveland, Mill Riff, Pa., and two sisters, Mrs. William shaffer and Mrs. James Ayre, both of Tunkhannock, Pa.
Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m at Edward W. Baumeister Colonial mortuary, Queen and Jackson street. rev. Edgar henry, pastor of First Methodist church, will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Rose cemetery.
