James Lincoln Marshall, 51 years old, a farmer of near Blue Mound, died at 4 o'clock Monday, 30 April, 1917, following two years illness of bright's disease.

Mr. Marshall was born January 22, 1866, in the Blue Mound community and had lived all of his life there. He was a member of the Baptist church. 18 December, 1890, he and Mattie L. Davidson were married.

He leaves a widow, Mattie L. and three children: Robert, Gladys, and Goldie. He also leaves two brothers: John Wesley Marshall, Decatur and Arthur Marshall, Blue Mound and two sisters: Libbie Jane Bartlett and Rosa Bell Abell of Blue Mound. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marshall of Mt Auburn are his parents.
