Clothing Flames From Log Fire In Woods Early Tuesday
HUGO, Okla. - Dorsey Shawhart, 25 years old, died about 10 o'clock Tuesday night from burns received early Tuesday morning when his clothes caught from a log fire he was tending in the woods about six miles southeast of Soper.
Almost the entire surface of his body from the knees up was burned, according to the attending physician.
The funeral was arranged for Wednesday afternoon at Soper with burial at the cemetery there. Shawhart is survived by his widow who was O[illegible], his mother and two children.
