Dorothy L. POUNDSTONE, age 88, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2008.
Dorothy was born on July 23, 1919, in Morton, Illinois, to Edward and Louise Leman, who preceded her in death. Dorothy had been a Hobart resident since 1961, coming from Glen Park. She was a graduate of St. Luke's Hospital registered nurse program and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and First United Methodist of Hobart.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Poundstone in 1971 and brother Lester Leman. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Central time today, May 1, 2008, at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Rev. Jonathan Gosser officiating. Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with an OES service at 1:45 p.m. Burial will take place on Friday, May 2, 2008, at 11:30 a.m. Eastern time at IOOF Cemetery in Rochester.
