Deltie Mae Bastin Tackette, 79, Tower Drive, Eubank, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington.

Born June 2, 1921, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Farbie Reece Bastin. She was an airplane riveter during World War II, a Globe Warnke factory worker, and operated Eubank Beauty Shop. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur J. Tackette, Eubank; and three daughters, Veronica Tackette, Eubank, Karen (and Mike) Phillippe, Stanford, and Shelia Dian Tackette, Eubank; and a sister, Mollie Wall, Eubank.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Shannon Tackette, Eubank; a brother, James Matthew Bastin; and a sister, Dessie Caudill.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 25) at the chapel of Barnett and Demrow Funeral Home, Waynesburg, with the Rev. Noel Dodson officiating.

Burial was in Double Springs Cemetery, Waynesburg.
