Alvin Edward Allred, 47, of Glenwood, suffered a fatal heart ailment Monday morning at Las Cruces, where he had been working with the Lockwood & Modern Company. He was a native of Alma.
Survivors of the deceased include his widow, Mrs. Betty Allred of Glenwood; four sons, John of Dallas, Bruce with the U.S. Navy stationed in Georgia, Dwayne of Springerville and Bobby of Glenwood; and six brothers, all of Silver City, Rags, Gus and Con of Glenwood, and Dr, Dallas Allred of Prescott, Ariz.
The Rev, Harold E. Dykstra will officiate at the funeral services at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Glenwood Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the family cemetery at Glenwood.
