Alma Edith Plemmons, a daughter of Simon and Nancy Whittle Keeth, was born on October 15, 1897, in Miller County and passed away Friday, May 25, 1979, at the Medical Center in Independence, Missouri. At the time of her death she was 81 years, 7 months and 10 days of age.
On January 13, 1915, she was united in marriage to Allie C. Plemmons who preceded her in death on December 15, 1966.
Those surviving include: eight sons, Curtis Plemmons of Yakima, Washington, Wayne Plemmons of Sheridan, Oregon, Gail Plemmons of Chico, California, Dorrell Plemmons of Iberia, and Noel, Troy, Terry and Jerry all of Kansas City; four daughters, Mrs. Bertie Abbott of Crocker, Mo., Mrs. Freda Farris of Blue Springs, Mo., and Mrs. Norma Jean Schaefer and Mrs. Doris Van Hooser both of Kansas City, Mo.; five brothers, Eather and Ollie Keeth both of Iberia and Willard, Connie and Henry Keeth all of Wapato, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Duncan and Mrs. Gertrude Duffield both of Eldon. Also surviving are 33 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Plemmons was a member of the 9th Street Christian Church in Eldon.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Stevinson Funeral Home with Bro. Lee Todd officiating. Burial was in the Hawkins Cemetery.
