__Prince Hudson Jr., 88, of 6325 Rockwell Dr. NE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died there Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009. Memorial service: 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Del Bear. Entombment: Linwood Mausoleum, Cedar Rapids.
__Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Donna; his daughter, Cynthia Sue (Wendell) Gould of Cedar Rapids; grandson, Jared David (Jessica) Gould of Palo; two sisters, Viola Coffelt of Perryville, Mo., and Edna Seeman of Cedar Rapids; and his nephew, Jerry (Janet) Happel of North Liberty.
__Prince was preceded in death by his parents; two infant sons; two sisters; and six brothers.
__Born Oct. 29, 1921, in Silver Lake, Mo., Prince was the son of Prince and Ida Mae (Reddick) Hudson Sr. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. On May 16, 1947, he was united in marriage to Donna Evans in St. Louis. Prince worked in the car business from 1958-1986, retiring from Bruce McGrath Auto Sales.
