Mrs. George V. Moncure, of Chelsea, near Widewater, Stafford county, died Tuesday night, aged 68 years. The deceased was a highly esteemed lady, and is survived by a husband (who is connected with the first auditor’s office in Richmond) and one daughter. She was the sister of the celebrated Confederate cavalryman, Turner Ashby.
