Richford ---- Thelma Negus 97, of Richford was united with her Lord and Savior at her home Tuesday November 24 , 2009. Mrs Negus is survived by five sons and dauthers in - laws; Leroy & Marge Negus , Merl Negus, Russell & Marilyn Negus, Leslie & Betty Negus, Vernon & Sandy Negus.. Also surviving 10 Grandchildren 14 Great grandchildren several nieces and nephews. Born Feb. 28 , 1912 in Jasper County Indiana as was her twin Alma. Dhe was the youngest of 10 children born to James and Mary Ann Lantz Caldwell and the last survivor of the family. Thelma Married Bliss Negus Aug. 11 , 1932, they were married 54 years until his passing on Feb. 27 , 1986. She was also preceded in death by her two daugthers - in -law, Patricia Negus and Mary Ann Negus. Thelma was a devoted wife and mother, who enjoyed her home and surroundings, gardening feeding the birds and playing Cards with her fanily and friends. She attended the Richford Congregational Church and was a member of the former Rebeka Lodge in Richford. A Memorial Service and Celebration of her life will be hyeld at 11 am on Saturday Dec. 12 , 2009 at the Richford Congregational Church. Pastor James Sweeney will officate. Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery, Richmon. Expressions of Sympathy may be directed to the Richford Congregational Church P.O.
