William Edward Bish died Friday, Decemver 20, 1946 at his home in Hawthorn. He was born December 20, 1877 in Clarion County, a son of Jacob and Angeline Slagle Bish. He was married to Bertha Drayer, of Clarion County.

Mr. Bish is survived by his wife,
seven sons and four daughters:
Bruce, Lloyd, Merle, Blair, Jay and Clyde Bish of Hawthorn; LeRoy Bish of Rimersburg;
Mrs. Claude Hiles, Ford City;
Mrs. Clyde Fenstemaker, Hawthorn;
Mrs. Edward Daugherty, Hawthorn, and
Mrs. Edward Bowersox, Hawthorn.

A sister, Mrs. Martin Boocher, of DuBois also survives. There are 25 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Bish was a member of the Evangelical Church of Hawthorn, and the Odd Fellows Lodge of Hawthorn.

A funeral service was held Monday at 2 pm at the home with the Rev. A F Thomas in charge, assisted by Mrs. Elizabeth Dunn. Interment was made in the Hawthorn Cemetery under direction of Chas. D Alcorn of Hawthorn.
