Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Kent Guy Miller, age 60, passed away on December 8, 2009 at his home in Taylorsville, Utah.
Born July 1, 1949 in Standardville, Utah, son of LaVell Christian and Rheta Mae Snow Miller. Married Alice Elizabeth Ginger on April 10, 1981 in South Weber, Utah.
Kent was a facilities manager for the LDS Church for fifteen years and was currently employed as an Accountant for the University of Utah.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; children, Rebecca A. (Beckett) Sine, Cathryn S. Miller and William A. Miller; granddaughter, Kaution Sine; brothers, Chris (Evelyn) Miller, North Salt Lake and Ernest (Ginger) Miller, Syracuse, brother-in-law Johnnie Johnatakis. Preceded in death by his son, John; parents; and sister, Anna Johnatakis.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the Willow Bay Ward Chapel, 6030 South Prairie View Drive (3500 West), Taylorsville. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), and Friday at the Church from 9:00-9:45 a.m.
Interment: Taylorsville Memorial Park Cemetery.
