Mrs. Margaret Hoida, 59, 910 Holmes Avenue, Menominee, succumbed at 8:30 Friday evening in St. Joseph's hospital where she had been a patient since Monday. Mrs. Hoida suffered a paralytic stroke Monday afternoon in her home. She has resided in the city of Menominee for the past four years coming with her husband from Wallace, Mich. where they had operated a farm for 33 years. Mr. Hoida preceded her in death two years ago.
Mrs. Hoida is survived by the following daughters and sons: Mrs. Joseph Vorachek and Mrs. F. Ewald, Menominee; John Hoida, Green Bay; Jacob and Joseph Hoida and Mrs. F. Michaely, Milwaukee; Fred Hoida, South Bend, Ind.: William Hoida, Stephenson, and Mrs. F. Bouche, this city; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Prucha and a brother, Andrew Kralovec, Menominee, and 21 grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Lemieux Funeral home and will be removed to the family home at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon.
Funeral Monday
Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 8:30 o'clock from St. Adalbert's church and the Rev. Father Victor Karch will officiate. Interment will be at Riverside. Mrs. Hoida is a member of the Altar Society of St. Adalbert's church in Menominee.
