Mrs. Lula Campbell, 84, died at 5:15 a.m. yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O. W. Snead, in Ellard. Born in Nelson County on Jan. 16, 1867, Mrs. Campbell was the widow of W. C. Campbell, Ellard. She had been in failing health for several years and had made her home with her daughter for ten years.

Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Gilbert Bryant, Stuarts Draft; Mrs. Jessie Strickler, Richwood, W. Va.,; Mrs. Eva Davis, Hampton; Mrs. Emmett Barnett, Charlottesville, and Mrs. R. S. Thompson, Staunton; two sons, Harrison Campbell, Covesville, and Henry Campbell, Wintergreen.

Also surviving are two brothers, Richard Dodd and Parker Dodd, Waynesboro; two sisters, Mrs. Will Coffey, Alexandria, and Mrs. Ella Fitzgerald, Washington, D.C.

A number of grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

Services will be held Monday at three p.m. at Calvary Chapel, Stuarts Draft, conducted by the Rev. William Sorrels, assisted by the Rev. W. S. Thomas. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
