In John Wise's will made in 1854 he leaves his estate to his wife Elizabeth and names children, one of them being Elizabeth Darby who was first wife of Rezin Darby, married 1850. She died in 1857 and may also be interred this cemetery with Rezin or her parents.
(A little history - Pultney Township was organized in 1801, located in the Eastern part of Belmont county along the Ohio River includes the town of Bellaire. West Virginia lies across the river to the East. In 1833, Pultney Township contained one or two stores, four flour mills, three or four gristmills, several saw mills, and a woolen factory.)
