Mary Ann was married to Lemons Boston on February 24, 1844 in Columbus, Pa. by Elias Dodson under the name Mary Ann Everett, this is according to sworn testimony given by her in 1897 on a request form so that she could collect Lemon Boston's military disability pension. Three of her children (Elida, Theresa and Lemons) all have listed on their death certificates that her maiden name was Heiny (or a variation of that spelling). I have not been able to find which one is correct. It could be that her maiden name is Heiny and that her mother remarried to a Mr. Everett, or just the opposite that her maiden name was Everett and her mother married to a Mr. Heiny, and that is why there is confusion her maiden name.
