She was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on16 Aug 1891 in Heber, Wastach County, Utah. Sarah Jane Howarth married Richard Osmer Luke in Heber City, Utah, on January 11, 1898, when she was 15 years old. In 1911 the family moved to Provo, Utah County, Utah. They had nine children in 24 years. She died on January 3, 1958, in Provo, Utah, at the age of 75, and was buried in Heber City, Utah.
