CAVE CITY - Maydell Adwell Glasscock, 82, Cave City, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014 at NHC, Glasgow. She was born in Springfield, Illinois on May 27, 1932 to the late George and Mable Riley Long. She was a retired seamstress at Mammoth Cave Garment Co. and a member of Basil Chapel Baptist Church. She was the widow of Leslie Glasscock.

Survivors include four daughters,- Bonnie Tibbs, Jean Bale, Brenda Cline, Shirley Horton, all of Cave City; a brother, Keith Long of Indiana; a sister, Lucille Johnson, Cave City; grandchildren, Allen England, Stacy McCracken, Todd Renick, Charlsa Damron and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by sisters Alma Wyatt, Marie Price, and Dorothy Gossett.

Funeral Services with Allen Wilson officiating will be at 11 AM Saturday, July 19 at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City, with burial in Cave City Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be after 5 PM Friday.
