Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Mr. Britt, 82, died Aug. 8, 2009, at his residence. He was born in Lincoln County Oct. 25, 1926, to Nathan A. Britt and Sarah Falvey Britt.
He was a retired carpenter and building inspector for Farmers Home Administration. He was a member of Red Star Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a U.S. Army veteran that served in World War II.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his sisters, Arcola Brady, Eunice Smith and Winnie V. Hurst; and his brother, Edward Britt.
Survivors are his wife, Almarie Stevens Britt, of Brookhaven; his daughter, Anna Marie Kimble and husband, Sammy, of Brookhaven; his brother, Heber Britt, of Brookhaven; his sister, Dorothy Hamrick, of Brookhaven; and his grandchildren, Kelsey, Brett and Jackson.
