Harry Aull, 80, 709 Christopher Greenup Drive, died at 9:55 Saturday [December 4, 1971] at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital. For 40 years he was employed by the Daviess County Road Dept. He was born in Daviess County December 18, 1889, and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, St. Vincent De Paul, and was a honorary member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Pauline Aull; four sons, Robert E. & Joseph Aull, both of Knoxville, and William G. & James L. Aull both of Owensboro; eight daughters, Sister Marie Michael, Owensboro, Sister Margaret Joseph, Grants, NM, Sister Naomi, Louisville, Mrs. A.J. Baron, Paducah, Mrs. George Clark, Dallas, TX, and Mrs. Gerold Higdon, Mrs. Joyce Dunn and Mrs. Joseph Lydanne, all of Owensboro; 35 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. E.J. Rhodes. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Williams Cemetery. Prayers will be said at 7 p.m. today at the Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home.
