Obituary, Woodhead--
Lulu R. Woodhead, daughter of Stephen C. and Emma G. Beck of Edgar, was born on her father's farm east of Edgar Nov 29, 1875. She passed away Sept 3, 1960 at Hughson, Calif at the age of 84 years, 9 months and 4 days.

Her father, mother, two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.

She was married to Walter W. Woodhead Nov 9. 1958. Three children were born to this union; Ralph H., Blanche A Sheridan and Earl S., all of Hughson, Calif. and seven great-grandchildren survive also. One aunt, Mrs. Lydia Gowen of Dedham, Ia., a number of cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of friends are grieved by her passing.

She was a member of the M. E. Church of Edgar, also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in the Edgar Methodist Church with Rev. Delvin Roper officiating. Burial with the McGhie Funeral Home in charge was in the Edgar Cemetery.
