Mrs. Bond went to be with her savior on Dec.6, 1996, at the home of her daughter Betty Joe Bodie. She was married to Carl S. Bond. They had 4 children. Mr. Bond died in 1968. Pauline had worked in a sewing plant her entire adult life . She devoted all her time to her children and grandchildren. In the early part of 1995 Mrs. Bond went to the home of her daughter Betty, taking rocks and sticks. Extensive test were done and she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. Mrs. Bond never returned to her home. She stayed at Betty's house and the family watched her as she dwindled each and everyday.
A few days before she passed away, she never spoke a word, she kept attempting to sew her sheets and blanket like she had done so many years before.
