Lola and Francis Brooks were married in Limestone Co. in 1926. Lola was also married to Rosco E. Clark. Lola and Rosco (Red) lived at Aldine near Houston for several years. Moved to Branard St, in Houston. She worked for a Houston Packing Co. for several years making wieners. Because of that, she would not eat wieners the rest of her life. They were in the process of building a house on the farm at the time of her death. The farm was located near Huntsville in Walker county. She had rheumatoid arthritis, and was confined to a wheel chair the last few years she lived. At one point on her way to the hospital, the ambulance was in a wreck, and she never recovered from the injuries. (by Morris G. Smith)
