Survivors include his wife, the former Lora Williamson; three sons, Talmadge Meadows and L.B. Meadows of Valdosta and Julian Meadows of Orange, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Mae Ora Roberts of Monroe, La., and Mrs. Jack Robinson of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, J.C. Meadows of Vidalia; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Jane Rockett, Mrs. Avie Clarke, Mrs. Amanda Williamson and Mrs. Maude Lewis of Normantown; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are to be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Carson McLane Funeral Home with graveside rites in Pinecrest Cemetery at Vidalia at 4 p.m.
