KEARNEY — Ione L. Turner, 86, of Kearney died Saturday,
Dec. 19, 2015, at Mother Hull Home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services with the
Rev. Dean Pofahl officiating. Burial will be at
Kearney Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. today and one hour before services Wednesday, both at the funeral home.

Ione was born June 13, 1929, in Miller to Samuel and Grace (Haddix) Rohde. She grew up on a farm north of Miller.
She graduated from Ansley High School. Ione worked on the farm with her dad. Her favorite horse growing up was Moosie. She later worked on another farm and raised cattle.
After farming, Ione moved to Miller where she opened an antique store. She moved to Kearney and worked for K&S Auction. Ione married Jerry Turner on April 17, 1981, in Kearney. He passed away in 2008. Ione enjoyed gardening and collecting glass chickens. She was loved by her family and friends and will be missed by all.
Ione is survived by a sister, Maxine DeLisle of Las Vegas; cousins, Beverly Mattox and husband Dale, Joyce Clark and husband Mike, Jack Burnett and wife Jean, Frank Haddix, Mike Haddix and wife Laura, Clyde Haddix, Darlene Stunkel,
Leo Haddix, Randy Haddix and wife Linda, Kenneth Haddix, Samuel Haddix and Clinton Haddix; niece, Therese Waldo and husband Jon; nephew, Moe DeLisle and wife Beth; and sister-in-law, Marg Stutzman and family.
Ione was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
