Her first husband was George W Harding. They married on Feb 16, 1914 in Wabash County, Indiana, then made their home in Warsaw, Kosciusko, Indiana.
After George died Ruby married a widower, Edward Hamilton Rusher, on December 27, 1941 and became a step-mother to his grown daughter, Dolores.
Later in life Ruby suffered from Parkinson's Disease. When she and Ed could no longer care for themselves at home, they shared a room at the Alfran Nursing Home in Warsaw until Ed's death in December 1963. Ruby lived there a little over two years longer.
