Lorraine Megrath
Lorraine L. Megrath, 78, of Lebanon, died at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 1996, at Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield.
Born June 6, 1918, south of Lebanon, she was the daughter of Arch and Doris Smith Harrison. On Nov. 16, 1940, she married Paul Megrath. He died Dec. 25, 1968.
Mrs. Megrath graduated from Cantril High School. She was a farm homemaker and worked as a dietary aide at Van buren Good Samaritan Center, Keosauqua.
She was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church in Lebanon.
Survivors include one daughter, Duana Megrath of Lebanon; one son Paul Megrath of Lebanon and three grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceeded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m.
The funeral for Mrs. Megrath will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Lebanon United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harlan Winter officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery.
Memorials have been established for Lebanon United Methodist Church and Lebanon Cemetery.
