wife of John WilliamsonMarjorie Williams Adams, 103, of Wayne, WV, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020. Private graveside services will be conducted at Woodmere Memorial Park by Rev. Fred Ramey and Justin Thacker. She was born July 12, 1916 in Wayne County, a daughter of the late Fletcher and Martha Fry Stiltner. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Williams and Marion Adams; daughter-in-law, Verna Williams. She was the last one of twelve children and was preceded in death by all of her siblings, Rev. Jennings Stiltner, Jay Stiltner, Charles Van Stiltner, Taylor "Sam" Stiltner, Herman Lee Stiltner, Louella Stiltner, Myrtle Booth, Vesta Stiltner, Georgia Berry, Lona Smith, and Pearl McClellan. She was the loving mother of Donald "Don" Williams of Wayne, and his wife Judy; four grandchildren whom she loved very much, John K. Williams, Brent A. Williams, Dennis R. Williams and Jennifer L. Davenport; twelve great-grandchildren, seventeen great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews that she loved; and many friends, neighbors and church family. Due to the recent restrictions with the health concerns, services have to be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Altizer Freewill Baptist Church, 216 3rd Street, Huntington, WV, 25705.
