Lester Pilgrim, 77, of Claremore, died April 14, 1988 in a Tulsa hospital. Born May 10, 1910 in Westville, he was the son of Bob and Mattie McGinty Pilgrim. He was a farmer.
Funeral services were held April 16, at Baptist Mission Church with Clyde Leslie of Booneville. AR officiating. Interment was in Baptist Mission Cemetery, Westville, OK under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife Minnie Tune Pilgrim of Claremore. 7 sons, Bob of Claremore, Dean of Jenks, Raymond of Broken Arrow, Cecil, Billy and Stanley all of Claremore; 3 daughters, May Kindle, Frances Gann both of Claremore and Carolyn Scivally of Skiatook; his sister-in-law, Eualila Pilgrim of Claremore; 20 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren
