MACON - Dorothy Purvis Arnold, 86, of Chriswood Drive, died Wednesday in Macon. -Services will be held at 3P.M. Saturday, November 21, 2009 in Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Elder Franklin Bryant and Elder Gary Hall will officiate. -Mrs. Arnold was born in Peach County the daughter of the late E.J. and Lucille Harden Purvis. She was the widow of the late Horace Eugene "Buck" Arnold. Mrs. Arnold was a Homemaker and a member of Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church. -Survivors include her daughter, Annie Thistlewood-White and son-in-law, Greg; her son, Ferman Arnold of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Eugene Thistlewood, Penny Abney, and Ashley Arnold; great grandchildren, Matthew Clance and Katelyn Sanderlin; great great grandchild, Madison Allen. -In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Heart of Georgia Humane Society at P.O. Box 7554, Macon, GA 31209. -The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
