~ West Des Moines, Iowa

Surrounded by family, ALBERT NEGRETE, 77, went peacefully to be with his Lord on Tuesday, November 17, 2009.

~ VISITATION ~
will be Thursday, November 19 from 5 to 7 p.m.
with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at the parish center.

~ A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL ~
will be Friday, November 20 at 11 a.m.
at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

~ BURIAL ~
at GLENDALE CEMETERY, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa.

ALBERT was an avid sports fan and was especially fond of the Iowa Hawkeyes. He also enjoyed Dowling football and anything his grandchildren participated in.

ALBERT loved nature, reading, and cooking Sunday morning breakfast for his family.

MOST OF ALL ~
~ ALBERT loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

ALBERT served in the U.S.MARINE CORPS and was a KOREAN WAR Veteran.

ALBERT was employed with Rock Island Railroad for 30 years and retired from the West Des Moines Public Schools.

ALBERT was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
