Mrs Maud Auringer wife of D.M. Auringer, passed away Saturday morning at 8 o'clock, after an illness of seven weeks, due to leakage of the heart. Mrs Auringer was the daughter of Mair Haskin(s), formerly of cary and leaves to mourn her death her husband and five small sons, Jesse, Elmer, Harvey, Mair and Walter, her father, Mair Haskin(s), and a sister Mrs Smith of Capron. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the house. Ser...(illegible sentence)....Free Methodist church, where Rev. Vanek spoke words of comfort and sympathy. Mrs Auringer was a woman who commanded the respect and admiration of all. Despite the severe cold the church was packed, and floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. Many from out of town attended the funeral. Interment was in Cary cemetery.
