Mrs. Evelyn L. Gardner
Mrs. Evelyn Lamphear [Lamphier] Gardner, 68, Ashtabula, a native of Greene, died at Ashtabula General Hospital at 5:45 p.m. Saturday of a stroke.
Born in Greene, Oct. 27, 1881, she was employed at the Ward Products Co. in Ashtabula in the cafeteria.
She was a member of the First Christian Church. She formerly resided in Conneaut.
Her husband, Charles F. died in April 1939.
Surviving are a son, Alfred of Ashtabula and three grandchildren.
The body is at the Hahn Funeral Home in Ashtabula where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in charge of Rev. Harold Smith. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Greene.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight.
