Rites Held For Mrs. Frank J. Cocek of West

Mrs. Frank J. (Rosie) Cocek, 83, of West died Thursday morning in the West Community Hospital.

Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at Kotch Funeral Home in West. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 3 p.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West with the Rev. William Benish as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mrs. Cocek was born in West and lived in the West area all her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and belonged to the Catholic Daughters of America Court 829 and the SPJST Lodge 54.

She married Frank Cocek on July 7, 1919, in West.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Bernard Cocek of Carrollton; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Ammeter of Royse City and Mrs. Virginia Pickel of Fair Oaks, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Joseph F. Holasek, W.O. Montgomery, Dr. Leslie Ammeter, James Quilter, Bruce Cocek, and Geoffrey Ammeter.
