Harvey Hubert Brown 56, of Route3,Waynesboro,was pronounced dead on arrival at Waynesboro Community Hospital at 8;30 p.m.Monday.
He was born in Augusta County,Oct 9,1917, a son of the late Robert and Fannie McDaniel Brown.
He was a member of the Blue Ridge Church of the Brethren and was employed with Basic-Witz corp.
Surviving are his wife Mrs. Phyllis Wolfe Brown,two Daughters,Mrs.William(Seretha) Truslow of Crimora and Miss Denette Brown of Waynesboro,two sisters,Mrs.James (Agnes)Madison and Mrs.Andrew (Elsie)Dudley,both of Waynesboro,three brothers,Earl Brown,Reginald brown and Willard Brown all of Waynesboro,four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11a.m. Thursday in McTyree Funeral Home,conducted by the Rev Dee C Flory with interment in Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers are Ralph Brown,Dale Bryant,Gary Bryant,Ross Fletcher,Lee Hutchinson and Randy Smith.
Honorary pallbearers are Hawthorne Snead,Kiddo Norman,Samuel Zimmerman,Roy Fleeman,Clarence Craig,Cliff Wolfe and Charles Kelly.
The family will recieve friends from 7 to 8 tonight in McDow-Tyree Funeral Home.
