George married Jessie Homan in Smithton on Oct. 14, 1903. They lived in Otterville where he supported the family by farming.
Their children, all born in Otterville, were:

3. Clyde L. - Dec.7, 1907
4. William Homan - Oct. 20, 1909
5. Jessie May - April 9, 1912
George, age 43, & Jessie were living in Otterville, when he registered for the WWI Draft on Sept. 12, 1918. His physical description was short, medium build, brown hair & eyes. He was totally disabled.
He died from Influenza in Richland Township (in or near Forence, Morgan Co, MO, on June 23, 1933. The contributing cause of his death was some type of Ataxia (unable to determine what was written). He had lived 58 years, 3 months, & 12 days.
His brother, Woodson, was the informant on his death certificate. He was buried on Jan. 25.
