They had 5 children 1 girl Wilma Imo who died as a teenager age 15 of spinal meningitis and 4 sons Raymond Loren, Ronald Dean, Loren Mayo and Lawrence Ivan died as infant in 1922. They were members of the Harlan EUB church. Her husband Eugene died after an accident with a road grader at young age or 45 in 1928. Pearl lost her vision last 9 years of her live due to Diabetes and went to live her only sister Flora (Woods) Cogswell in Manhattan Kansas. She died in their home in 9 April 1952 and was buried in Gaylord Cemetery with her husband Eugene.
