Mrs. Etta Dearinger Died Tuesday

Mrs. Etta L. Dearinger, age 74, resident of Rush county, died unexpectedly at the W. S. Major hospital at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning. She had been in poor health for a year and was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago. However, her condition had improved and she had expected to return to her home Wednesday.

She was born in Walker township, Rush county, on March 30, 1870, the daughter of John S. and Mahalia Ormes Miller. In November, 1891, she was united in marriage to D. M.[David Marshall] Dearinger, who survives with three of five children born to the union. They are Chester Dearinger, of Rushville, and Carl and Clell Dearinger, of Arlington. Also surviving are two brothers, Elmer Miller, of Indianapolis, and Lora Miller, of Rush county, and three grandchildren, Esther Ellen, Janet and Charlene Dearinger.

Mrs. Dearinger was an active member of the Arlington Christian Church, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Buck officiating. Burial will be made in the Hurst cemetery near Homer. Friends may call at the late home north of Arlington after noon today.
