"Carrie" was the daughter of John A. Byars and Louisa Caroline Byars.

She was the spouse of Luke Pryor Alexander.

After his death she married Joe Walker Barker.

Mrs. Carrie Barker

MOULTON -- Mrs. Carrie Barker, Moulton, died Wednesday at 9:50 p.m. of an apparent heart attack at her home.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. from Elliott-Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be in Moulton City Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Barker, Moulton; three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Karrh, Hale Center, Tex.; Mrs. Evelyn Matthews, Birmingham; Mrs. Marjorie Francis, Decatur; four sons, William Alexander, Moulton; Clifton Alexander, Sheffield; Ernest Alexander, Russellville; Thomas Barker, Lucasville, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. L.E. Hurst, Decatur; two brothers, George D. Byars, Moulton; J.W. Byars, Russellville; 20 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be Mike Alexander, Buzz Alexander, Luke Alexander, Jake Alexander, Jim Francis, and Tommy Barker.

Honorary pallbears will be Milton Hall, Odis Long, Lonnie Gentry, Hudson Sandlin, Bill Barclift, Floyd Smith, John Wilson, J.D. Weinman, and Wallace Sneed.

The body will lie in state from 1 until 2 p.m. at the chapel.

The family request any donation be made to the heart fund.
