Rebecca was a midwife and "healer" who delivered many babies and cured many ailing people. She married John Jamieson when she was 14 and they had 5 surviving children.

Obituary: Mrs. Rebecca Ellen Behanna Jamison died this morning in her home at Sunnyside, RD#3, Elizabeth. She was the widow of John J. Jamieson. Mrs. Jamieson was born in Donora on Apr 14, 1884, a daughter of the late Samuel and Martha Spor Behanna and she was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Monongahela. Friends are being received at her home, where the Rev. Paul Andre will conduct services on Tuesday at 2pm. Interment will be in Round Hill Cem. Survivors include four sons, David, Carson and Joseph, all of RD3, Elizabeth and John J. Jamison of RD1, Elizabeth: a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Semke, of RD3, Elizabeth: 9 gc: 12 ggc; a step brother, Arthur Linn of RD3, Elizabeth; three brothers, Melvin and David Behanna of RD3 and Samuel Behanna of Donora and one sister, Mrs. Oley Little of Donora."
