Curtis Turpin died at 2 oclock Thursday afternoon in the home, east of Mt. Zion after an illness lasting from last February of Brights disease. He was 28 years of age.
He was born near Mt. Zion and spent his entire life in that neighborhood. He leaves his widow and his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Turpin. He also leaves one brother, Thomas Turpin of Mt. Zion and three sisters, Mrs. B. McCoy of Argenta, Mrs. Thomas Bladsaw of Decatur and Mrs. Frank Odor of Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be conducted from the home with burial in the Turpin cemetery.
