Bill joined the U.S. Air Corp in December, 1942. He served through February 1946, in China Burma India Theater.
He was a member of the VFW Post 3225 of Clovis, American Legion 147 of Clovis, and CBI Veterans.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy of Clovis; his nephews: Wrynn Guenther and his wife Maureen of Oxnard, Ca., Randy Drew of Fresno and Daniel Braymer of Washington; nieces, Ruth McMaster and her husband Pete of Covina, Ca., and Helen Wilson of Florida.
Visitation will be held at Boice Funeral Home in Clovis, on Thursday, November 12, 2009, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be held at Auberry Cemetery on Friday, November 13, at 11:00 a.m.
