Mrs. Minerva Rhome, wife of Henry Harrison Rhome, of West Waynesburg, died at the Waynesburg hospital, Wednesday, August 27, aged 64 years, after a year's illness. She was born December 10, 1849, a daughter of the late Elmore and Elizabeth Vandruff Phillips. Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Frank (Charity) Ward, of Franklin township; Mrs. J. W. (Margaret) Hathaway, of Baker's Station; Mrs. Grace Soles, of Shadyside, Ohio; Melvin and Russell Rhome, of Canonsburg, and Earl, at home, and also the following brothers and sisters; Porter Phillips of Hundred, W. Va.; Mrs. Morris (Eliza) Anderson, of West Alexander, Pa.; and Mrs. John (Emily) Fuller, of Whiteley, this county.
