Anna Beaverson died Tuesday, September 23, 2003, one day after her 86th birthday. A life-long resident of South Toledo, Anna was the daughter of Anna and Matthew Kuebbeler and the youngest of seven children. She was an active member of First English Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and was involved with the women's circles. Known for her creative programs and artwork, Anna helped with Christmas pageants and banquets at the church for many years.
Anna is survived by her husband of 60 years, Burl, and daughters, Sue Ann (Kenneth) Joy of Marblehead, OH and Carol (Marc) Small of Perrysburg, OH. She was a devoted grandmother (Mimi) to Sarah, Jacob and Laura Joy and Emily, Hailey and Scott Small.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 27, 2003, at Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale, Toledo, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with a remembrance celebration following at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
