"MRS. SARAH ABBLEY DEAD"

"Mrs. Sarah Abbley, aged 70 years, a native of North Biloxi and resident of Biloxi for the past thirty years, died here last night at 10 o'clock. She was the wife of the late Capt. Fritz Abbley. She was well known on the Mississippi Coast, and is survived by four stepdaughters and three stepsons and numberous other relatives. Her stepdaughters are Mesdames J. P. McCabe, Sr., H. E. Haise, George C. Quint and Miss Laura Abbley, all of Biloxi. Her stepsons are R. V. Abbley of Pass Christian and Fred and Emile Abbley, of Biloxi. Mrs. Abbley had been sick for some time but she took seriously ill on Sunday evening. The funeral is being held this afternoon at 3 o'clock from her late residence, 920 Reynoir street, with services in St. John's Catholic Church, of which she was a member, with interment in the Biloxi cemetery."

"Sorrowing relatives and friends of the late Mrs. Sarah Abbley, who died Monday night at ? o'clock, attended the funeral yesterday afternoon. The funeral cortege proceeded to St. John's Catholic Church where Rev. Father Carey conducted the service there and at the grave. Many beautiful floral offerings demonstrated the esteem in which the deceased was held. The pallbearers were R. V. Abbley and son, Elwood, of Pass Christian; Fred and Emile Abbley, Will Straub and J. P. McCabe, Jr., of Biloxi."
